Girl

"You are a girl. A girl must get married at a right age. We are not forcing you to marry right now but if we start searching from today, then we may be able to find someone suitable for you. Afterall, 2 years is all we have."

She was just 19 years old when she heard this from her mother. She had just started living her life confidently and learned what her real passion was but her mother's word started disturbing her. She was talented, obedient and everybody in her college recognized her as a topper. She couldn't understand what was her mistake and when did she make it. Afterall, she believed she had always made her parents proud and happy. Whole night she kept on thinking, reasoning if her parents were tired of her or had they had any doubts in her ability to be an achiever. If not so, then why were they in such a hurry for finding the groom. Are they scared that their daughter may start loving a boy from different caste?

Sometimes, she also felt that she might be overreacting because the society in which she lived, every girl had to face the same situation. But her mind was not able to agree that, such thing which is disturbing her mind can't be right. Everything has a time. Maybe when the actual time comes, it will sound normal but at the moment when she is still in her teens, such things can only disturb her and stress her. It only made her think that 'she' being a girl has no right to fulfill her dreams. Afterall, society becomes proud of achiever sons. Can't a daughter be an achiever and marry whenever she wants?

She

She was a still water so fresh and pure until he jumped in it and gave it a motion. Maybe she was just waiting for this day to come. There was not a single second that she could shift her mind away from him. It was new but it was strange how fast she adapted to this newness. She could never imagine a day which she could spend  without talking to him. She knew he was a lot busy but even a second of his presence and 5 mintues of talk everyday was enough for her. But she wasn't  aware how cruel her destiny was going to act.

He went out of town for few days but had promised her to return within a week and would talk to her at least once a day. Her heart was ofcourse  heavy but seeing his excitement and happiness to complete the work, she agreed. His smile made her happy for some moment but as he was leaving she was getting out of control. Once she was surrounded by negative vibes but his arrival had changed everything but now as he was going she felt being pushed to the darkness again. For first two days he called her as he promised but from third day he was out of contact. She was desperate. He had told her not to call him because whenever he would be free he would contact his princess. She couldn't  control and dailed his number. The ring went unanswered. She tried to sleep forcefully that night. Her pillow was all wet and eyes too swollen. Next day, again she waited and there was no call. On the fifth day, finally he called. She just acted normal and he explained his reason of inability to contact her. She just responded okay but inside her things were different.

Again, he didn't  call on the 6th day and she could feel being surrounded with all those negative vibes. She tried controlling her tears but was unable to control those negative vibes which was destroying her inner peace slowly.

Separation!!

Can stars be separated from the sky? Can a dark room become bright without light? He was her star. He was her light. Everytime she stared in his eyes, she saw twinkling stars. And since he entered in her life, all the darkness faded away. But now he was far from her. This made her restless.

Every morning when she opened her eyes, she wished to see him soon. Her pillow often tasted her few drops of tears every night. He was now her life, her everything. She could never stay without talking to him but now she was compelled  to patiently wait for his one call in a day.

She always had a lot to share but now she had no one to talk to properly. Her words never came out from her mouth rather they remained inside her heart and started poking her....

'C'hange

It was a new start to everything. The year was new, the month was new, the college was new, the subject was new, the friends were new. She felt as if it was a new life, a new birth. She was seeking change after the nightmare that she had never imagined. She thought a simple change could change her life and now she had found the 'C'.

She had always been negative minded. Whether it was her upbringing or her over thinking nature, it's unknown but most of the time she was negative about life and herself. And after those disastrous past experiences, finally she tried being positive. She took her past as a beautiful lesson, which would help her to live a beautiful present. She had started smiling a little more without caring how worst her smile was. She had started approaching people without caring if they ignored  her.

She had never felt so satisfied and happy before. And change was already at the door knocking. This 'C' thing made her realise her worth and the special person she was. She even understood that better things are on the way , all you need is a little patience.
